Rhino murdered in Chitwan

CHITWAN, Apr 08- At a time when the preparations were on to mark the zero-poaching for the third consecutive year, a one-horn rhino was killed by the poachers in Chitwan National Park (CNP).

According to Information Officer and Assistant Conservation Officer of CNP Nurendra Aryal, a male rhino was found dead this morning at Hariyali Community Forest in Jagatpur of the CNP’s buffer zone.

Aryal added that a team from the CNP has been mobilized and the details of the incident are awaited.
